You can be hypnotized if:

If you can watch a movie, you can be hypnotized!  Movies require you to let go of judgement and evaluation so that you can enjoy the story without questioning too many of the plot holes or mistakes.

If you can read a book then you can go into hypnosis. Reading requires the same sort of concentration that hypnosis does.  Plus, if you can read a novel and imagine the characters, you are already halfway there!

If you can have a one-on-one conversation with someone in a crowded room, you are engaging in something similar to hypnosis.  That same sort of focus where you pay attention to one thing while ignoring something else is a skill that is present in hypnosis.
